Man of God

You can always tell a man of God by the words he speaks, the lifestyle he lives,

By the decisions he makes and the abandonment of the way he feels

Rising above the curve balls in life that are sure to come

Renewing his mind and bringing every high thought under subjection

You can always tell a man of God because he exhibits servant hood, as a laborer in the field

True humbleness, diving faith on what is real

Women Anointed

What does it mean to be anointed? Being anointed means being appointed to remove burdens and destroy yolks

To heal the sick and they recover instantly, defying what people think of church folk.

The anointing comes at a result of obedience- God’s gift to the diligent. The anointing is a divine enabler to do all things- to walk by faith in a realm of the unseen.

You can be an anointed preacher who delivers people when you speak

You can be anointed in whatever it is that you seek…because of the God in you.

An anointed writer, an anointed speaker, an anointed artist, an anointed teacher

The anointing is power that changes, rearranges, breaks, and tears down walls of containment and makes things crystal clear.

We are too anointed to fear!  We are anointed women of God! The only thing we fear is God and that is with respect with the audacity to obey

To smear or rub oil on…huh…the anointing is more than what Webster says

Hey! The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel

Jesus anointed the eyes of a blind man with clay

But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head and wash thy face

We know communication to be the gateway in any relationship.
It can heal, restore and rejuvenate
However, the problem with communication between people is not knowing how to be vulnerable with each other
Communication on the surface is not true intimacy because one never steps outside of themselves

Its a game of tug-of-war.
Do I pull towards myself to hold on to the safety net called walls
Do I allow you to pull me towards the freedom I don't realize I need

Because of past relationships there are these walls we put up to protect ourselves against those asking us to take a chance
Vulnerability has been seen as a sign of weakness in many when in actuality is can be the greatest freedom
Even if one is hurt in the process, there will always be other opportunities to grow, develop, and mature
It is with great hope each person realizes the revelation behind vulnerability and choose to experience it together.

So, can I trust you with my emotions?
I'm willing to find out, not for you but...for me.
