Within four corners of my room
I see unscrambled words waiting to be consumed
The four chambers of my heart beat nonstop
Steadily waiting for the ink to drop
My thought processes yearn for change
Through it all the chambers remain the same and yet continues to reign
I need it like I need words to do the job I was destined to do
Because I am but a mere voice looking for clues
That's why my heart beats.
This is the perfect name for this poem and also for your works. All of your poems have been an inspiration to me. What I like about your poems are that they speak to everyday issues. You do not just speak to one gender you speak to both...young and old. I am a huge fan. I pray that you continue to pursue your dreams...because you truly have a God-giving talent. I can not wait until your book(s) drop. Keep up the good work!!!
